This is Not a Test

This is the real thing baby - and I'll be the first to tell you it ain't easy. To take a minute to absorb the fact that the aesthetics of this blog aren't perfect, and aren't going to be for awhile. Frankly, I don't really have the time to learn the format, and you don't want to be trying to read pink lettering on a red background while I do. So - for now - it's going to be simple.

What's the point of this space?


The point is to win, and win at any cost. Literally. Look up Beauford in Wikipedia. I'm like the lovechild of Bobby Bowden, and that coach from "The Program." Here's the great experiment: Can a guy with a full time job, and almost no responsibility outside of that job keep a college football blog going? Can he win Best New Blog next year? Can he keep his job and not alienate his girlfriend in the meantime?

I suppose time will tell. I will tell you that I'm going to try to be funny, irreverent, and probably a little insulting. Go screw if you don't like it. Just kidding. Keep reading. No really, I love you. I think that the world of College Football provides more than enough interesting news year round to keep a fairly entertaining blog going. So that leaves us with: Goal = Entertainment Bitches. Right.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am a Michigan fan, although it is my hope that this blog will remain fairly unbiased. I also won't be covering Michigan too in depth, except to make the occasional snarky comment about Ohio State. Come on though, do you have to be a Michigan fan to do that? If you're looking for Michigan coverage, there are several fine Michigan blogs that will do you better than this space, since really, I have no idea what I'm doing. Check out the sidebar for your links.

Football content to come early next week, with topics ranging from...well...football, to chanting "USA" at odd times during sporting events.
