The guy seems to have the type of attitude that most of those State teams used to have. Ready to react with a massive inferiority complex at the drop of a hat... State has always been a team that has lost it's mojo once it gets hit square in the mouth (metaphorically and literally). They and Purdue have literally perfected the 5-0 start, 7-5 season over the years, it's uncanny.<BR/><BR/>They most assuredly have some talent on both sides of the football, but I question where the leadership on this team will stem from, and who will step up to be the offensive go-to guy this season. <BR/><BR/>Cal is a tossup because it is @ Cal, but the three week stretch of OSU, @Michigan, and Wisconsin will absolutely make or break this team's season. The Spartans effectively play very little leading up to that stretch... that said, if OSU comes in and knocks them around, how will they respond in Ann Arbor the following week? Flip side, lets say MSU gets off to a ridiculous start, stuns the Buckeyes, how do they handle themselves heading into the Big House?
